Why has my verification email not arrived?
Check the address, spam/junk and the latest email. Wait before requesting another link. Open the link in the same browser where you requested it. If delivery is unavailable, Criclock must enable or resolve the email service; never use a shared or invented verification code.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗My sign-in link expired or opened in another browser. What next?
Request a fresh link from Owner login and open the newest email in the browser where you started. Old or already-used links may not work. Do not forward a sign-in link to another person.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗When does the 14-day trial start?
A new owner’s trial starts only when Criclock approves and publishes the submitted listing. Preparing the private application uses no trial time. It includes one Lite ground. Existing trial and paid dates remain unchanged.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗What is the difference between a venue and a ground?
The venue is your public location and listing. A ground is an independently bookable pitch within it. Plan capacity counts active grounds across the owner account; only platform administration can attach additional venues.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Do I need to create a venue URL or city slug?
No. New venue URLs are generated from the venue name, with a numeric suffix for duplicates. The city URL follows the saved city. Renaming an existing venue keeps its public venue link stable.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why is Use my location not finding the venue?
Device permission, browser settings or location availability may prevent a fix. Use it while physically at the venue, then check the entrance pin. If it is denied or times out, search the place or set the pin manually and save the venue.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗I moved the map pin. Why did the saved location not change?
Selecting or moving a pin does not save the venue by itself. Choose Create venue or Save venue after reviewing the address and entrance. A later reload discards unsaved edits.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How do I set hours when we close after midnight?
Set the real opening and closing times. A closing time at or before opening is treated as the next day; identical times mean 24 hours. Review overnight bookings using their full dates and intervals.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How is the minimum ground price charged?
It is a floor for each playing interval, not an added fee. At ₹100/player/hour and a ₹1,000 ground minimum, nine players cost ₹1,000/hour; eleven cost ₹1,100/hour. A 30-minute interval at the ₹1,000 hourly floor costs ₹500.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Will changing players change a fixed hourly charge?
No. Fixed ground hourly pricing depends on elapsed playing time. Player counts are still useful operationally, but they do not change that reservation’s fixed hourly rate.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Will a new ground or menu price change an old booking?
A reservation keeps its accepted playing rate and minimum. Refreshments retain their order-time prices. Later changes affect future quotes or new orders, so mixed refreshment prices may appear in the saved-price breakdown.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Where do I change the booking advance?
Criclock platform administration controls each ground’s fixed or percentage advance. Owner hourly pricing and the venue’s Allow cash at the venue setting are separate. Ask administration to review an advance change.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why is my venue missing from customer search?
First check that Criclock has approved your application. Then check Publish this venue is saved, at least one ground is active, your city is correct and the account has valid trial or paid access. An unpublished venue or an account without active access is not listed publicly.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can I put my venue at the top of Criclock results?
Sponsored placement is managed by Criclock administration and is labelled Sponsored. It applies within the selected city and can appear above organic matches even outside other filters. It does not buy a Google ranking.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Does a three-hour booking block all three hours?
Yes. The entire reserved start/end interval is occupied on that ground. The calendar shows one continuous block and total duration. Other bookings cannot overlap any part of it.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why does an unpaid hold make a slot unavailable?
A checkout hold temporarily protects the full requested interval while a customer confirms. Only an unexpired hold blocks time. A hold is not a confirmed reservation and should not be treated as a received payment.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗What is the difference between a reservation and a walk-in?
A phone reservation saves a future interval without starting play. Reserve ground & start timer in Start a walk-in now reserves the interval and starts charging immediately. Check in a confirmed reservation when its group actually begins.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Does a late arrival get a later finish automatically?
No. Actual play starts at check-in, but the reserved end stays unchanged. Use an allowed extension if the next booking, holds and closing time leave room.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can customers find a booking without logging in?
Yes. Find my booking requires the full booking reference and the mobile number used on it. It shows limited venue, ground, time and status details. Phone-only lookup is not supported; customers who lost the reference can log in to My bookings or contact their venue.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can I cancel or refund a customer booking from the owner area?
A normal owner cancellation/refund screen is not available yet. Do not archive a ground, create maintenance or change player counts to cancel a booking. Contact Criclock administration to resolve the reservation and any money already received.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How do I add or remove players during a session?
Open the live session, enter Players to add or remove and use + Player joined or − Player left. The new count applies from the recorded time. You cannot remove more players than are active; earlier intervals keep their earlier count.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why is the bill increasing when all players have left?
The configured minimum continues while a session is active, including with zero players. A fixed hourly session also keeps charging for active time. End play & finalize bill when play stops; setting players to zero does not end the session.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can I pause the playing timer?
There is no pause control. The app bills from actual recorded playing start/end times. Backgrounding, closing or reloading the browser does not pause or reset the session.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How do I add water bottles or Maggi to the slot?
Use Refreshments, on the same bill in the live session. Press + or enter the intended total quantity. Repeated orders stay grouped by menu item, and the amount reflects saved quantities and order-time prices.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How do I fix an incorrect refreshment quantity?
Before finalization, use the quantity control to reduce or correct the total and supply the correction reason when requested. Wait for confirmation and check the line total. Do not create another menu item to offset an error.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why is the time-extension button disabled?
The full extra interval must fit before the next booking, any active hold, maintenance and closing time. Less than 30 minutes free leaves no offered extension. It may also be unavailable if your staff permissions do not include booking management.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗An extension looked available but failed. What should I do?
Another reservation or hold may have taken the gap before confirmation, or the session may have changed. Refresh and check the saved end. A rejected extension leaves the previous interval unchanged; do not promise time that was not reserved.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can I backdate a player change or edit a finalized bill?
Ordinary player controls apply now, and ordinary attendance/order changes are locked after finalization. Do not invent player counts or payments to compensate. Refer a historic mistake for an audited correction; a general post-finalization adjustment tool is not available yet.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Does ending a session automatically mark it paid?
No. Finalization freezes the bill. Record cash actually received using the collection form afterward. Partial collection leaves an outstanding balance; an advance already received is deducted once.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can staff record a customer UPI payment in the session?
The current session collection form records cash. Customer online checkout and settlement are not connected yet. Do not label a UPI receipt as cash just to clear the balance; ask Criclock administration to reconcile it. Platform-admin manual subscription payments are a separate owner-billing flow.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why are revenue and collected money different?
Finalized revenue follows the bill’s completion date, while Collected follows actual receipts, including advances. They can fall on different days. Outstanding is a current unpaid balance, not a historical closing balance. Compare the daily transactions rather than counting a receipt as a second sale.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How do I see a month, three months or a custom period?
Choose Period in Finances. Select Today, This month, Last 3 calendar months or Custom dates. For a custom period, set From and Through and choose Apply dates. Click a calendar day for that day, or return to the full period.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can I export only one day’s transactions?
Yes. Select the reporting period and then the calendar day before using CSV export. Check the displayed dates first. The download uses a fresh authorized snapshot for that scope and includes reporting totals.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How do I correct a posted expense?
The owner expense form currently adds real expenses and has no ordinary delete/edit control for posted entries. Record the issue and ask Criclock administration to investigate; do not enter a fake balancing expense.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why can I not add a staff member by email?
Their account must already have a verified email. Ask them to complete verification, then use Owner settings → Staff. Adding access does not send an invitation. Avoid having staff create their own owner business workspace just to join your team.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why can my staff not see Finances or start a session?
Pages and actions depend on their current permissions. Review Operations, Accountant or View only and the individual checkboxes in Staff. Finance viewing, collecting payments and starting/ending sessions are distinct permissions.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why am I asked to upgrade when adding another ground?
Lite allows one ground, Plus two and Pro three. Creating an unpaid invoice is not enough: confirmed payment activates the extra capacity. Check Plan & billing and payment history. Pro does not automatically allow a fourth ground.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How much is an upgrade partway through a paid month?
An immediate paid-month upgrade charges the added grounds for the remaining paid period at the original period’s rate and keeps the renewal date. The invoice shows the exact amount. A trial upgrade instead starts a full paid month.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How does my cash subscription payment appear in my account?
After Criclock administration confirms the full invoice payment actually received, the invoice shows Paid · confirmed, Payment history shows the receipt and the plan capacity updates. Owners cannot self-mark a subscription invoice as paid.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Where can I download my Criclock invoice?
Open Plan & billing, select the clickable invoice and choose Print / Save as PDF. It shows Criclock as issuer, the stored service period, amount and any confirmed payment. No GST is currently applied.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can I enable Razorpay AutoPay now?
Razorpay checkout and AutoPay are not connected yet. Starting a trial or creating an invoice does not create a recurring mandate or charge. Use the currently available payment arrangement with Criclock administration.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Does archiving a ground reduce my subscription immediately?
No. Purchased capacity is separate from active use. Archive excess grounds first, then review a smaller plan in Plan & billing. A paid smaller renewal takes effect for the scheduled period; there is no automatic mid-period refund.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Why can I not archive or restore a ground?
Archiving is blocked by active sessions, future reservations or unexpired holds. Restoring needs capacity in the applicable plan, including any scheduled smaller plan. Resolve the actual booking/access issue; do not delete customer history.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can I add a second venue under my account?
Only Criclock platform administration can attach another venue to the owner account. You can edit venues already attached. Grounds inside a venue remain subject to your total plan capacity.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Did my change save while the internet was disconnected?
Do not assume it saved. Reconnect, refresh and inspect the actual session, booking or receipt before retrying. Criclock does not commit offline bookings, extensions or payments later without confirmation.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Can I install Criclock on Android or iPhone?
Use Install Criclock when offered by your browser. On iPhone Safari choose Share → Add to Home Screen. This installs the website as a PWA; it is not an App Store or Play Store release. Internet is still needed for live operations.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗How much do Lite, Plus and Pro cost?
Standard monthly prices are ₹1,000 for Lite (1 ground), ₹2,000 for Plus (2) and ₹3,000 for Pro (3). Criclock administration can agree a discount; your actual next monthly price is shown in Plan & billing. An approved new Lite workspace receives a 14-day trial.
Read the step-by-step lesson ↗Will my lesson progress follow me to another phone?
Learning progress is stored only in this browser, separate from your owner account. Another device or browser starts its own progress. Clearing site storage can erase it, and people sharing a browser share that learning checklist. It does not change any venue, bill or staff permission.
