  1. 1

    Choose the reporting period

Open Finances. Select Today, This month, Last 3 calendar months or Custom dates. For custom dates, choose From and Through and select Apply dates. Reports use India time and INR.

  2. 2

    Read each measure separately

Finalized revenue follows completed bills. Collected follows actual receipt dates, including advances. Net cash flow follows money in and out. Current outstanding describes unpaid balances now; it is not a reconstruction of an old closing balance.

  3. 3

    Select an individual day

Use Every day, at a glance to choose a day in the selected period. The report narrows to that date so you can compare its booking count, daily revenue and transactions. Use All dates in period to return to the range.

  4. 4

    Reconcile the detail

Review Daily totals and Transactions, including their final totals. A collection received today for yesterday’s bill can appear on a different day from the sale. An advance is a receipt, not another playing sale.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Try it at your ground

Choose a completed day and reconcile the report against its finalized bills and actual collections.

You can explain why Collected and Finalized revenue may differ without assuming a missing payment.
