STAGE 3 · Take care of the business

Lesson 17 of 22 · 3 min read

Export a report for your accountant

Download a CSV matching the date range or day you selected.

Open Finances ↗

The workspace link may ask you to log in. Read this guide alongside your own account.

  1. 1

    Set the scope first

In Finances, choose the reporting period. If using Custom dates, select Apply dates. Select an individual calendar day only when you want that day’s detail.

  2. 2

    Review before downloading

Read the displayed date bounds and any selected-day filter. Check Daily totals and Transactions so you know what the export should include.

  3. 3

    Download the CSV

Use Export daily CSV for day totals or Export transactions CSV for the individual entries. You must be online and signed in with finance access. The file uses a fresh authorized snapshot and the displayed date bounds.

  4. 4

    Check the exported totals

Open the CSV in your spreadsheet tool. Confirm the period/day, transactions and totals. Later collections or a newly finalized session can make a newer export differ from an earlier screen snapshot.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Try it at your ground

Export the same completed day you reviewed in the previous finance lesson and compare its totals.

You’re ready to move on when…

You can repeat the export with a full month or one selected day without confusing the scopes.
