Block maintenance and manage grounds
Close an interval or archive a pitch while preserving its booking history.
Open Booking calendar ↗The workspace link may ask you to log in. Read this guide alongside your own account.
- 1
Block a temporary closure
In Booking calendar, use Block maintenance time. Choose the ground, enter Reason and the full start/end interval, then choose Block the interval. A conflicting booking or active hold prevents the block.
- 2
Remove a maintenance block
Open that maintenance block and choose Remove maintenance block when it is safe to reopen the interval. Confirm the calendar reflects the change before offering the time to a player.
- 3
Archive a ground
For a longer removal, use Owner settings → 2. Grounds → Edit ground & pricing → Archive ground. Active sessions, future bookings or holds must be resolved first. Archiving hides new booking availability while keeping history.
- 4
Restore or expand carefully
Use Restore ground on an archived card when there is space in your plan. At capacity, review a paid upgrade. Only Criclock platform administration can attach another venue to your owner account.
Try it at your ground
Decide whether a real closure needs a temporary maintenance block or long-term archiving before changing availability.
You’re ready to move on when…
You can reopen a temporary closure and explain why a ground may be blocked from archiving/restoring.
